If we fail, the house at 178 Church Road Hanwell set in a conservation area, will be replaced by six flats at the front and two semi-detached houses in the back garden.
80 per cent of the plot will be built on to house 26 people.
28 mature trees, hedges, shrubs and all greenery will be destroyed.
Access to green spaces during this pandemic is vital to combat stress, climate effects and drainage. It contravenes Ealing’s new climate emergency strategy to plant trees and hedgerows to increase biodiversity and carbon capture.
Ealing North MP James Murray has objected, and we have support from Ward Councillors. Your response will count to get a referral to the Planning Committee.
